Nishtha Kumar
Nishtha is an Advocate-on-Record with the Supreme Court of India and a Partner with Saga Legal. She is a seasoned and nuanced disputes lawyer with over 15 years of experience. She has specialised in Regulatory Litigation, representing leading energy group companies and airlines in high-stake commercial and tariff related matters. She also holds extensive experience with civil litigation disputes, including matters involving land acquisition, medical negligence, consumer and matrimonial disputes.
Prior to joining Saga Legal, she has worked with leading law firms such as JSA, Trilegal and SKV, as well as with Senior Advocates, Ms. Indu Malhotra (now Retd. SC Judge) and Mr. Atul Chitale (Chitale and Chitale Partners).
She holds an LLB degree from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, a BA Hons. degree in Political Science and a Diploma in Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding, both from Lady Shri Ram College. Nishtha is also fluent in Japanese, JLPT Level 2.
