Nishtha Kumar is the founder of NK Law and an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India, with Post-Qualification Experience of over 14 years, focusing on Dispute Resolution, and Advisory work. Nishtha holds a degree in B.A. Political Science (Hons.) from Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi (Batch of 2004-2007), as well as, an LLB degree, from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi (Batch of 2007-2010).

Since 2010, Nishtha has practiced in several fora, including the Supreme Court and various High Courts, across varied disciplines. Nishtha has also had the esteemed privilege of working under the tutelage of a Ms. Indu Malhotra, (then Senior Advocate) Retired Judge of the Supreme Court of India, as well as in J. Sagar Associates, a Tier 1 law firm. Nishtha has also worked with Mr. Atul Y. Chitale, Senior Advocate (Chitale & Chitale Partners), as well as SKV Law Offices.

Key areas of work handled by Nishtha have included Corporate-Commercial litigation and advisory work, including in the Regulatory sector (Electricity and Aviation), and also cases pertaining to Environmental Laws, Land Acquisition, Education, Consumer Disputes, Medical Negligence, Criminal litigation, Service Laws and Matrimonial disputes. Her experience is inclusive of not only advising clients on strategy and way forward, but also in terms of drafting/filing pleadings, representing and arguing before Courts.

Dhaval is an Advocate on Record entitled to practice before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. Dhaval graduated from GLC Mumbai in 2009. Prior to becoming associated with NK Law, Dhaval was a partner at K. Ashar & Co., New Delhi. And whereas till 2016, Dhaval was practicing as a Counsel in the Chambers of Senior Advocate, Mr. Chander Uday Singh.

Dhaval has experience in handling complex and high impact litigation. He specialises in dispute resolution and civil litigation particularly focusing on arbitration, company laws, securities and capital market laws, real estate, environment laws and trans-border jurisdiction pertaining to execution of foreign decrees, awards and letters of request.

Aman is a qualified Advocate-on-Record before the Supreme Court of India, with more than fourteen years of experience at the bar. Previously Aman was a Partner at Vidhii Partners, Delhi, having spent over 9 years with the firm. He has appeared in various high-profile matters in the Supreme Court of India and has experience in dealing with both civil and criminal litigation.

In the course of his professional career, Aman has represented various corporate entities and individuals in a wide range of matters. He has diverse experience in advising various clients and is also empanelled with various Government Authorities as well as corporates. Aman has worked in a wide array of matters, including matters pertaining to interpretation of the Constitution, Arbitration, Contract, Consumer Protection, Criminal, Labour and Employment, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, and various other. fields of law pertaining to both civil and criminal law.

Aman has been appearing on a regular basis in various other courts and fora apart from the Supreme Court, including the Delhi High Court, PMLA Authorities, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, National Company Law Tribunal, Appellate Tribunal For Electricity, National Green Tribunal, Trial Courts, and other legal fora including Alternative Dispute Resolution Forums. He advises clients of various areas more particularly areas pertaining to Joint Ventures/ Collaborations, Franchisee Franchisor relationships, OEM, contracts, Principal-Agent Contracts, confidentiality and non-compete related issues as also drafting and vetting of agreements, forms, disclaimers, privacy terms etc.
